Day 3 Roma to Longreach

We left early again because the road is very busy with lots of workers.

What was going to take us 1hr and 45 minutes to get to Morven took 3 hours because of all the roadworks.
On the way we passed another road train, this one was old with old model trucks on the back, that was interesting.

We stopped at between Augethella and Tambo at a rest stop for morning tea.
Most of the rest stops have drop toilets. These are toilets that do not have water to flush. everything just drops to the bottom!!!

We stopped at Barcaldine for lunch in the park, then headed off to Longreach.
I could see the QANTAS 747 from a distance, I knew then we were close!! Yippee nearly there!!
